Question: I met a guy last weekend when I was out with friends at a party. We sat and talked for the entire evening and really hit it off. We were flirting and hugging. He had his arm around me the whole night or held my hand. His friends gave him a hard time and teased us. I gave him my phone number but it's been a week and not a word from him. Why do guys do this?

Answers:

Ms. Mystery: You must be new at dating and meeting guys. This is the bad part of dating. It happens to everyone, whether you are a girl or a guy. You meet someone, hit it off, and sometimes that's it. You wonder what you did wrong. You did have a real attraction, but you don't know what else is going on in the other person's life. It could be anything. Maybe

they had just started seeing somebody else, or thought they had broken up with someone but that person won't go away, maybe it's other personal problems.

On one hand, don't waste any more time worrying about it. You had a fun evening. You'll have more. On the other hand, It's only been a week so stop worrying. Just relax and see what happens. Distract yourself with other things, go out and meet other guys. Life is short.

Mr. Know: What do you do? You do nothing. If this guy is interested, he'll call you. If he's not, that's his loss. Don't spend too much time thinking about it. If he doesn't call you, there are many many reason that may have nothing to do with you. He might have gotten some peer pressure for whatever reason. Don't be easy. Good luck and Godspeed.
